Start From Hello

Maddie was able to bring the new musical Start From Hello back for a new workshop concert in September of 2025. The musical, writtten by Michaela Vivona and Topher Paolucci, had it's most recent workshop in 2019 at Syracuse Univeristy. bringing it back to The Green Room 42 to continue it's growth was such a fulfilling process, and we cannot wait to see what is in store going forward.

Start From Hello is a new musical about memory, identity, and finding your way back to who you truly are. After Jenny gets engaged to her girlfriend Alex, a car accident erases every memory of their relationship. With her disapproving mother rewriting the past and an ex invited back in, Jenny feels like something’s missing. As Alex fights for the woman she loves, Jenny fights for her own future—one she can’t remember, but still somehow knows is hers. Because no matter what’s forgotten, you can’t outrun who you are… or who you’re meant to love.
